I know the reason why you clicked on this post is that you are also facing same problem,means you also thinking to convinced your parents to choose blogging as a career.
Sometime we want to choose blogging as a career but our parents doesn't allow us.
Even when i choose blogging as a career,my parents doesn't allow me to do that.So what are the strategies i used to convinced my parents.
You also try to used these strategies to convinced your parents and choose blogging as a career.
1) Start Creating Proper Environment At Home:-
When all your family members are sitting together,Start a topic on blogging and about famous bloggers.
I know in starting no one can listen you easily.But you can start your speech. HAHAHA
Tell them about the famous bloggers like Darren,Amit Agarwal,Harsh Agarwal etc.Also tell them the stories of these great bloggers.
Ask the question from them,why these loggers quit the job for blogging even they have good jobs in their hand.
Say them i also want to be like them.And noticed their expression after that.
2) Money Is Honey:-
Every parents expect from their children to earn more and more in life.Yes this is true my dear.
This is the main strategy i used to convinced my parents also.I tell my parents about the Google Adsense, Affiliate Marketing etc.And tell them how we earn more and more from blogging.
The one thing who changes the mind of my parents is that i say them,Do you know the bloggers income can reach more then an IIT'ans.
Also show them the income proof of others bloggers.I sure they start thinking.
3) Make A Note Of Your Plan:-
Simply to say,Make a note of your plans and tell your parents to read carefully.Its better,make a note of your plans and placed that notebook on that place where your parents can easily reached and watch automatically.
So what are the plans you made here?
a) Plan of posting number of quality articles per day.
b) Make some SEO strategies.
c) Make a strategy to increase visitors on your blog.
d) Make a strategy to increase income of your blog.
e) Some family plans.
f) Make a list of competitive websites.
4) Show Dedication:
Whenever you work online like reading article,writing article then one thing is very important,you have to show some dedication here.Like block all the other stuff for sometime.First Logout to your Facebook Account.Stop seeing movies and listening songs.
Don't chat with anyone when you working etc.
They only your parents surely noticed that you are serious about your work.
5) Emotional Blackmail(Final Strategy):-
If all the above four strategies doesn't work then i have a final strategy which work is:Emotional Blackmail.
i know this is a bad way to convinced your parents but sometime some bad things works good for us.
I can't say anything here used your own Emotional Blackmail Strategy.HAHAHA
